The Street of Facades -- named for the thousands of decorative tombs which line this street for miles. The Tomb of the Palace is 170' tall, and has 3 interior levels. This photo shows quite well the colorful sandstone. The Silk Tomb -- named for the colorful sandstone. Note the Assyrian step designs.
