Cefalù is a seaside town on the northern coast of Sicily.  Castelbuono is a village built in the hills above Cefalù.  It has a charming piazza, and a church, Chiesa di Matrice Vecchio, which has incredibly well-preserved 12th century frescoes.    Cefalù is also overlooked by La Rocca, a rocky peak which stands more than 800 feet above sea level.
