 Santa Maria delle Grazie 1469 AD  The refectory of this church is decorated with what is possibly the most famous work of art in the world, The Last Supper, by Leonardo da Vinci. It is painted on the dining room wall where many years later, a doorway to the kitchen was cut through, destroying a portion of the painting.
