My Photos: France -- Pont du Gard

The Pont du Gard is an ancient Roman aqueduct which was constructed to bring water to the Roman city Nemausus -- Nîmes, France -- from a natural spring approximately 30 miles away.  The Roman, Agrippa, initiated its construction.  The aqueduct was completed around 50 AD.
