Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, built in the 12th century, on the site of the Anastasis Cathedral, circa 449 AD, which was destroyed in a 551 AD earthquake.
The frescoes, which cover the walls of the church interior, display multiple marks from bullets. Below the church, a small museum shows the partial excavation of a necropolis found here.
