The Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque overlooks the ruins of ancient Roman baths.



 

 



The mosque was built to honor Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, 
who was assassinated with a car bomb in 2005.


Al Omari Mosque
Originally the Crusader Cathedral of St. John  1113 -- 1150.
Transformed into a mosque by Mamlukes in 1291.
