A large, oval courtyard and arcade connect to the triclinium -- dining room -- and multiple rooms meant for relaxation and entertainment after meals. The courtyard was paved with a zigzag mosaic, and the arcade was paved with animal heads wreathed in acanthus leaves. A statue of Dionysus was showcased in this room, and the floor mosaics depict scenes of wine production with cupids picking grapes, gathering grapes, and pressing grapes.
