Peace Mandala by Brenda Pokorny

Peace Mandala Mosaic Artwork
by Brenda Pokorny

This mosaic piece was inspired by meditation, and influenced by the beautiful indigo and aqua waters of the Caribbean Sea.  I incorporated traditional mandala motifs, and worked them here in stained glass, vitreous glass tile, Italian millefiori, glazed ceramic tile and glass "gems" in an ombré of violet to indigo blues to aqua to lime green.  Difficult colors to capture accurately in photos.   The word "Peace" is actually deep purple.  Dark charcoal gray grout with a hint of navy.

The mosaic is framed in a 2" deep wood frame, in dark walnut finish, with beading detail on face, and is wired for hanging.

Measures 36" wide x 12" tall.  Framed:  38" x 14"

This piece is not for sale just yet.
